The installation ceremony for Dr. Jimmy Cheek as Knoxville campus chancellor is on Friday, May 1 at 3 pm. It will be followed by a reception and dinner beginning at 5:30 pm. This ceremony is an opportunity to observe an important tradition and to celebrate Dr. Cheek’s arrival and the special occasion. The Chancellor’s Associates group in Knoxville is paying costs for the dinner, and other minimal costs will be covered by the University.
