Mike Hamilton and I announced on April 2 the University has reached an agreement in principle with basketball coach Bruce Pearl on a renegotiated six-year contract. Complete details will be released soon. We are comfortable with the terms of the renegotiated contract and are very happy to be able to retain Coach Pearl in the face of a lucrative opportunity from another institution.
