There have been a number of bills that have caused us concern -- ranging from allowing guns on campus to regulating textbooks to immigration issues.
Thus far, we have been able to make a strong case for the University's view on all of these. I will be spending time this week with key leadership to talk about our budget process and the reality of tuition needs. We are watching a number of other potential issues, including activity related to sunset provisions which would align our authorization timing with that of the Board of Regents.
We will keep you posted on these and other activity as the session continues.
