As part of the initiative to involve our chancellors and campuses in our legislative activity, Vice President Hank Dye recently contacted all chancellors for the purpose of setting up campus visits. Our director of state relations, Anthony Haynes, is beginning a series of campus visits in which he will meet with key leadership to determine issues and priorities as we prepare for the next legislative session.
It is important that we continue to coordinate our government relations activity centrally, but both Hank and Anthony are committed to working closely with the campuses and institutes to maximize effectiveness.
